25% of Israeli Bank Branches to Operate As Usual
The Bank of Israel announced that at least 25% of Israeli bank branches, designated as "core" with protected spaces, will continue to operate.
Jerusalem, 1 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Bank of Israel declared that the “core” branches of Israel’s banks will remain open.
The banking system’s core branches are those that have protected spaces. At least 25% of the branches of each bank are designated as core branches. Each commercial bank will publish the list of branches that are open for service to its customers.
