Jerusalem, 26 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Almost 20 years after the terror attack in the village of Al- Funduq (near Qalqilya) in which Idan Zoldan was murdered, Shadi Jamea, a terrorist who took part in was arrested in the heart of Qalqilya. Zoldan, who was 29 at the time, was shot to death.
The arrest came in a joint operation carried out by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), and the Israel Police’s Gidonim unit 33, a special intelligence gathering unit in Arab areas,
The shooting attack in which Zoldan was killed took place on November 19, 2007.
Shadi Jamea had been released a short time earlier from detention by the Palestinian Authority, where he had been held until now, and was arrested afterward.
Following his arrest, he was transferred for questioning by the General Security Service.
