Israeli-US Automotive Collaboration Targets Reduced EMF Exposure in Electric Vehicles

Israeli SafeFields Technologies and US-based Veoneer are collaborating to commercialize automotive-grade EMF reduction solutions for vehicles.

Jerusalem, 18 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — SafeFields Technologies, an Israeli autotech company and Veoneer, a U.S.-based automotive safety systems supplier, announced a strategic collaboration agreement to commercialize automotive-grade electromagnetic field (EMF) reduction solutions for vehicles. The partnership aims to develop OEM-grade systems using SafeFields’ active cancellation technology to reduce low-frequency emissions in electric, hybrid, and conventional vehicles amid rising regulatory attention.

SafeFields said the collaboration leverages Veoneer’s global Tier-1 automotive safety expertise to accelerate commercialization across global markets. Veoneer said the initiative aligns with its focus on occupant protection and next-generation vehicle electronics. Both companies expect the agreement to support OEM integration programs in global automotive markets.
