International Webinar on Digital Resilience Among Children and Youth

The Ministry of National Security and the Child Online Protection Bureau – 105, are jointly hosting, for the first time, an international webinar on "Building Digital Resilience Among Adolescents".

This webinar is intended for professionals in the fields of therapy, education, prevention, law enforcement, and more. It is open to colleagues from various countries around the world.
What is Digital Resilience?
Digital resilience refers to the ability to maintain mental health and well-being in the digital and technological world, uphold healthy routines, and find support both online and offline.

Building digital resilience among adolescents has become an increasingly critical challenge in Israel over the past year and a half, especially during the “Iron Swords” war. During this time, Israeli and Jewish children and youth – both in Israel and worldwide – have been exposed to distressing images, videos, and content online that are inappropriate for their age.

These graphic and traumatic materials can significantly harm the mental health of young people, who are far more vulnerable to trauma due to their lack of life experience and developmental, cognitive, and emotional maturity. Additionally, many minors have faced cyberbullying, online harassment, and digital attacks while engaging in social networks and online gaming.
