Jerusalem, 22 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — In light of the ongoing state of emergency and the expansion of the fighting against Hezbollah and Iran, Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection said it is working to increase the preparedness and resilience of hazardous materials plants against cyber threats.

In this context, The Ministry held two webinars last week for plants that hold hazardous materials. During these webinars, the Ministry provided the plants, free of charge, with dedicated tools for dealing with cyber threats, including the production of reports to identify weaknesses in information systems, connection to the SOC cyber monitoring system, and real-time alerts about attempted attacks.
