Two Teens Injured in Palestinian Car-Ramming, Stabbing Attack

Jerusalem, 30 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Two Israeli teenagers were injured Tuesday in a combined ramming and stabbing attack at the Al-Khader junction on Highway 60, south of Jerusalem. The incident unfolded around noon near the tunnel road checkpoint.

The terrorist, reportedly a resident of the Palestinian village of Beit Fajar, drove his vehicle toward civilians standing on the roadside, striking two boys aged 15 and 16. He then exited the vehicle carrying a knife and was neutralized by gunfire, reportedly from a nearby civilian. The attacker was seriously injured at the scene.

Medical teams swiftly arrived. “A boy of about 15 was lying in a hazy state, and the other boy was fully conscious. Both suffered injuries to their heads and limbs. Civilians around them provided initial treatment, and we continued medical care before evacuating them to hospitals,” said Magen David Adom paramedic Eli Eisenbach.

The 15-year-old was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem in moderate to serious condition, while the 16-year-old was admitted to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in mild to moderate condition.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dispatched units to the area to secure the scene. “A terrorist who carried out a car-ramming attack and attempted stabbings at a location was neutralized,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Office said. “Forces are conducting roadblocks, cordoning off villages, and scanning the area.”

initial reports suggested concerns that additional assailants may have fled the scene, but these were later ruled out. Entrances and exits to nearby villages were temporarily blocked as a precaution, and some local roads were closed during the security sweep.
