Two Palestinians Accused of Arson in Ben Shemen Forest Fire Remanded in Custody

Two Palestinians from eastern Jerusalem suspected of deliberately lighting a fire in the Ben Shemen forest near Modiin were brought to the Rishon LeZion Magistrates Court on Sunday and remanded in custody. Police said the two were arrested on Saturday.

Jerusalem, 4 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Two Palestinians from eastern Jerusalem suspected of deliberately lighting a fire in the Ben Shemen forest near Modiin were brought to the Rishon LeZion Magistrates Court on Sunday and remanded in custody. Police said the two were arrested on Saturday.
