Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Palmachim Air Force base today together with Defense Minister Israel Katz and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi.

At the beginning of the visit, the Prime Minister received an operational briefing, and then held a discussion with UAV operators and technical teams, praising them for their activities during Operation “Lion’s Roar”.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

“I am here at the Air Force base with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the commanders, and the female and male combatants, both in the Air Force’s defense and offense, and the technical teams assisting in this operation.

I tell you honestly, they are doing an amazing job here. Chief of Staff, from you, through all the soldiers I see here, amazing work – that not only amazes the enemy – Minister of Defense, it amazes me too. I think the entire nation of Israel should appreciate the important work you are doing – defending the citizens of Israel and also attacking the murderers and their patrons in Iran.

We continue to strike Iran with great force. Our pilots are above the skies of Iran and Tehran, and also above the skies of Lebanon. Hezbollah made a very big mistake when it attacked us. We have already responded with great force, and we will respond with even greater force. The Lebanese government must understand, and the people of Lebanon must understand, that Hezbollah is dragging them into a war that is not theirs, solely because of the death of that mass murderer with whom they have no connection. They need to take care of themselves, and they should do so soon. We will continue to do what is necessary for our defense.
We are on the fourth day of ‘Lion’s Roar’. We are roaring – and we are acting.”
