Jerusalem, 17 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Persian Gulf countries are increasingly turning to Israel for help defending against Iranian missile and drone attacks, Israel’s ambassador to the US, Yechiel Leiter, said in a video tweeted on Tuesday. He noted that Israel has offered its expertise to any Gulf state requesting support.

“Iran continues to shoot missiles and suicide drones into all of its neighbors, shopping centers, airports, residential neighborhoods, and hotels. We’ve extended our help. There are those who are enjoying our expertise in these areas right now,” Leiter said.

Going into the third week of operation #RoaringLion – we keep pounding the Iranian regime, and are aligned with the U.S. in our operational focus.
