Israeli Security Forces Deployed to Hebron-Area Villages After Clashes, Injuries

Israeli security forces deployed to Hebron-area villages after clashes and injuries. An Israeli citizen and three Palestinians were hurt in attacks and theft.

Jerusalem, 28 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli security forces were deployed Tuesday evening to the village of Khirbet al-Haliyaweh in Hebron area after receiving a report that several Palestinians attacked an Israeli citizen and stole sheep and personal equipment, the Israel Defense Forces said. Around the same time, another report indicated that Israeli citizens had arrived near the village of Khirbet al-Qin, where clashes broke out at multiple locations.

Soldiers and police officers worked to disperse the clashes and restore order. During the incidents, an Israeli citizen and three Palestinians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment. An IDF officer was also injured after being attacked by a Palestinian woman. Two Palestinian suspects were arrested and transferred to Israel Police for further investigation.
