Israeli Military Warns Residents of Two Lebanese Areas of Imminent Attack on Hezbollah Terror Sites

The Israeli military warns residents of Kfar Hatta and Ain El Tineh, Lebanon, to evacuate immediately as the IDF prepares imminent attacks on nearby Hezbollah.

Jerusalem, 5 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed Monday afternoon that it intends to attack in what it called the the “near term” military infrastructure belonging to the hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon saying that it will do so, “in order to address the prohibited attempts it is making to rebuild its activities in the two areas,” and issued a stern warning to residents of these areas to evacuate for their own safety.

The two areas the IDF said it plans to assault are Kfar Hatta, located near Sidon and Ain El Tineh locate near Beirut.

The IDF’s Arabic spokesperson Colonel Avichay Adraee posted the following warning on social media to Lebanese civilians in the areas:

“URGENT URGENT WARNING TO RESIDENTS OF LEBANON AND SPECIFICALLY IN THE FOLLOWING TWO VILLAGES: Kfar Hatta [and] Ain El Tineh.”

“We urge the residents of the buildings marked in red in the attached maps (which were included in the posts) and the buildings adjacent to them: You are located near buildings used by Hezbollah and for your safety you are required to evacuate them immediately and stay away from them by a distance of at least 300 meters,” he added. “Remaining in the area of the marked buildings puts you in danger.”
