Israeli Military: Most ‘Key Assets’ of Iranian Internal Security Forces in Ilam Province Destroyed
The IDF reports the destruction of most key assets of Iran's internal security forces and Basij in Ilam province, including intelligence and Revolutionary Guard.
Jerusalem, 10 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF reported that most of what it described as the “key assets” of the internal security forces and Basij (domestic/religious police) of the Iranian terrorist regime in the Ilam province (western Iran bordering Iraq) Were Destroyed.
Since the beginning of the current conflict with Iran, said the IDF, the Israel Air Force, under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate, has been “systematically” attacking the Iranian terrorist regime’s systems and capabilities.
Over the past week, the IDF has intensified its attacks on the infrastructure of the Internal Security Forces and the Basij throughout Iran, which are part of the regime’s armed forces.
One of the main provinces where most of the government infrastructure was damaged is Ilam, a province where these forces carried out numerous terrorist plots and, among other things, carried out brutal repression during the internal protests in Iran in December-January, according to the IDF.
The IDF now reveals the assets of the Internal Security Forces and Basij in the district which were destroyed included:
Internal Security Headquarters.
Headquarters of the Iranian regime’s central intelligence agency (the Ministry).
Revolutionary Guards headquarters responsible for protest suppression battalions.
Headquarters of the Special Unit of Internal Security.
Several Basij unit headquarters and Revolutionary Guard infrastructure used to increase the regime’s control and rule in the province.
“These armed forces are part of the Iranian regime’s security apparatus, and have been responsible for carrying out terrorist plots for years,” said the IDF. “At the same time, these forces have led the main repression of internal protests, particularly in recent times, using severe violence, widespread arrests, and the use of force against civilian protesters.”
“The completed attacks are part of the phase of deepening the damage to the core structures of the Iranian terrorist regime and dismantling its capabilities,” it declared.
