The investigation revealed that Gaydarov was in contact with an Iranian operative starting in August 2025, during which he carried out numerous missions for substantial sums of money. Under the direction of his handler, Gaydarov agreed to produce explosives intended to harm a senior official. To manage communication with his handlers, Gaydarov purchased dedicated phones and rented an apartment in Haifa where he produced the explosives, documenting his activities in videos and photos sent to his handler as proof of his mission completion. During Gaydarov’s contact with the Iranian operative, he involved several friends and even enlisted their help in purchasing raw materials needed for explosive production. Consequently, several additional Israeli citizens, residents of the North, including Sergey Libman and Eduard Shubtiyuk, were arrested for investigation. The investigation revealed that they assisted Gaydarov in purchasing materials, concealing the explosives, and even conducting tests on the explosives’ effectiveness, each according to their role. It also emerged that during the “Lion’s Roar” war, Gaydarov was instructed by his handler to transfer photos of the Port of Haifa and missile impact sites in the northern region to the Iranians. He was also asked to locate a property for rent from which the port area could be observed in order to install a permanent camera. For all these activities, Gaydarov received compensation exceeding NIS 70,000, most of which was transferred to him via digital wallets. Today, a statement of claim was filed against him, and an indictment is expected to be filed against him and others in the coming days.
