Jerusalem, 15 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Due to the ongoing conflict with Iran, starting tonight (Sunday) Israel Railways will operate 24-hour train service to provide service to essential workers, security forces, and the general public, and to strengthen the ability of the Israeli economy to continue operating even during this complex period. The service will operate within the framework of the special war schedules and will end when things return to normal.

The service will operate throughout the night with a frequency of one train every hour in each direction, on two central travel routes connecting key areas of the country: Beer Sheva Central – Ben Gurion Airport – Tel Aviv Savidor Central – Haifa Hof Carmel, and Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Ben Gurion Airport – Tel Aviv Savidor Central.

Additionally, a free shuttle service will be operated throughout the night between Haifa, Carmel Beach and Nahariya in both directions.

The night lines join a significant expansion of Israel Railways’ activity in recent days. As of today, most train lines have resumed operation, travel frequencies have been increased, and most train stations across the country have been opened for service.
