Israel Police foil terror plot, arrest suspect linked to Turkey
Israel Police arrest suspect with ties to Turkey for planning terror attacks and praising October 7th massacre.
The two encouraged each other to carry out terrorist attacks and become martyrs. Furthermore, discussions between the two included statements regarding an attack aimed at harming national security. It also emerged during the investigation that the suspect did not limit himself to these communications, and maintained contact with a terrorist operative in Turkey. The conversations included expressions of joy and praise for the October 7th massacre. Upon completion of the investigation and the gathering of evidentiary material for offenses of contact with a foreign agent, threat of committing an act of terror, and connection to an act of terror, a statement of claim was filed yesterday in court by the prosecution, and the suspect’s arrest was extended for the purpose of filing an indictment.
