In an attempt to stop the vehicle for inspection, the suspects began to flee, and after a short pursuit, the officers managed to stop them. The suspects were apprehended with masks covering their faces, and a Glock pistol was seized from the vehicle. In an operation by Border Police fighters in reserve in the Iron Station sector, an additional suspect was arrested, who was holding a loaded pistol with a round in the chamber – ready for immediate use. All suspects were arrested for questioning at the station and were subsequently jailed.
