Jerusalem, 17 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday confirmed killing several terrorists from Syrian Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the southern Lebanon area of Majdal Anjar on Sunday.

According to the IDF, the terrorists were attempting to cross the border from Lebanon to Syria and had been advancing plans to attackisraeli soldiers and civilians.

The military said it would continue working to thwart the transfer weapons and terrorists on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
