Israel Air Force Launches Ninth Wave of Assaults on Tehran
The Israel Air Force launched its ninth wave of strikes on Tehran today, continuing Operation Roaring Lion and enhancing regional air superiority.
Jerusalem, 3 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said the Israel Air Force (IAF) launched a ninth wave of strikes on Tehran.
The IDF also reported that, with the completion of an attack earlier today, the IAF has now completed more than 600 waves of assault on targets in Iran overall since the ongoing Operation Roaring Lion began Saturday morning.
The IAF, explained the IDF, guided by Military Intelligence, completed earlier today additional attack waves in western Iran to strike the firing arrays of the Iranian terror regime and deepen the IDF’s air superiority in the region.
As part of the attack waves, the Air Force struck today dozens of missile launchers, defense systems, and additional firing arrays that were in use by the Iranian terror regime, in order to damage the Iranian regime’s missile arrays and reduce as much as possible the firing toward the State of Israel.
