In light of serious concerns that terrorist elements are operating with the aim of harming Israelis abroad, the National Security Council urges Israelis overseas to maintain increased vigilance and adhere to safety precautions

Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, there has been an identified surge in motivation and an increase in terrorist activity and threats from Iranian security agencies against Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide. Furthermore, kinetic attacks by Iran are occurring in countries in the region and those bordering Iran, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan. There is a growing concern regarding attacks on Israeli targets, with a particular emphasis on these arenas.
It should be noted that in recent days, several attempts to carry out terrorist attacks Against Israelis have been thwarted and disrupted.
The threat from lone-wolf attackers has also increased:
• USA: On March 1, a lone attacker opened fire in an entertainment district in Austin, Texas, following the American attack in Iran.
• Canada: On March 3, shots were fired at Jewish targets in Toronto; the perpetrator is still at large.
The National Security Council (NSC) emphasizes to the Israeli public the necessity of continuing to take increased precautions in any country they are visiting.
Key Guidelines:
1. Avoid transit flights through the United Arab Emirates until further notice (Note: the Level 3 travel warning, moderate threat, remains unchanged).
2. Conceal Jewish and Israeli identifiers while in public spaces.
3. Exercise increased caution in all destinations around the world, and especially in countries bordering Iran, the Gulf region, and countries with current travel alerts.
4. Do not share real-time personal information on social media, including hotel information, personal details, entertainment venues, travel plans or any detail indicating your current or future location.
5. Avoid visiting sites identified as Jewish or Israeli (e.g., Chabad houses, synagogues, etc.).
6. Maintain high awareness to your surroundings when in areas associated with Israel or Judaism (Chabad houses, synagogues, restaurants, etc.), and pay close attention to any unusual activity, suspicious objects or suspicious individuals.
7. In the event of a threat or attack, report it immediately to local security forces (we recommend that you ensure you have local emergency numbers in advance).
8. Avoid visiting areas known to be hostile toward Israelis and Jews (specific neighborhoods, quarters or markets in countries or regions with hostile public opinions toward Israel).
9. Follow detailed NSC recommendations for each specific country as published on the official NSC website.
