Jerusalem, 14 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli forces intensified operations across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, eliminating terrorists, dismantling underground routes, and directing more than 100 airstrikes on enemy infrastructure, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday.
Israeli units carried out coordinated ground and air operations targeting Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
In northern Gaza, troops continued combat efforts against underground tunnels and enemy fighters. In Beit Hanoun, soldiers located and destroyed weapons and an underground route and coordinated airstrikes that eliminated a terrorist cell planting roadside explosives.
In other areas of northern Gaza, including Jabaliya, Daraj-Tufah, Shejaya, and Zeitoun, soldiers killed terrorists, dismantled operational structures and destroyed strongholds belonging to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Airstrikes pounded more than 100 targets, including weapons depots, military compounds, underground tunnels, and known terrorist positions.
At least 1,180 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7. Of the 50 remaining hostages, around 30 are believed to be dead.
