IDF Hits 400 Targets In Iran Within 48 Hours
Over 48 hours, the Israeli Air Force struck around 400 targets in Iran, including military infrastructure and weapons production sites in Tehran.
Jerusalem, 1 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Over the past 48 hours, the Israeli Air Force has hit roughly 400 targets tied to the Iranian terrorist regime, according to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.
Overnight, acting on intelligence, the Israeli Air Force carried out a wide strike wave against dozens of military infrastructure Targets in the heart of Tehran.
The operation also targeted the regime’s weapons-production apparatus. According to the IDF, around 15 weapons manufacturing sites were struck, including a central Iranian Defense Ministry complex. Within that compound, the regime had established missile production and development facilities for weapons designed to be launched at aircraft and unmanned aerial platforms.
At the same time, the IDF struck air defense batteries, launch sites, and production and storage facilities for ballistic missiles, as well as missiles intended to target Israeli aircraft.
The IDF said the strikes are part of the current phase of operations aimed at inflicting deeper damage on the core systems and foundations of the Iranian terrorist regime.
On Tuesday, the IDF also struck a research and development facility accused of systematically transferring chemical substances to the Iranian regime.
According to the IDF, the site, operated by Tofiq Daru Company, served as a major supplier of fentanyl to the SPND organization, which it said is responsible for the regime’s chemical weapons development.
The factory allegedly operated under civilian cover while, in practice, supplying the Iranian regime with chemical materials, including fentanyl, used for the research and development of chemical weapons.
