Hezbollah Terror Cell Eliminated in Lebanon After Firing on Israeli Forces, One Officer Wounded
The IDF eliminated a Hezbollah terror cell in southern Lebanon during a ground operation after they fired an anti-tank missile, wounding one officer.
Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Fighters from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) 401st Armored Brigade eliminated a Hezbollah Terrorist squad in southern Lebanon from the ground, immediately after the squad launched an anti-tank missile toward the fighters.
This came during what the IDF called a “focused ground operation” by its forces in Southern Lebanon.
In the activity, an IDF combat officer was lightly wounded, evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, and his family was updated.
