Government Working to Compensate People Whose Homes Were Damaged in Iranian Attacks

Israel's government is coordinating temporary housing solutions for residents whose homes sustained significant damage from Iranian and Hezbollah attacks.

Jerusalem, 10 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Prime Minister’s Office, together with the Tax Authority’s Compensation Fund and the Ministry of Construction and Housing, are operating a system to find long-term temporary housing solutions for the people whose homes have been significantly damaged in attacks by Iran and Hezbollah.

The Ministry of Construction and Housing said it will assist property owners in finding housing solutions and making a pool of rental apartments available near their place of residence, according to the need and the duration of the restoration of the damaged structure.
