Drone Hits House in Shlomi, Alerts Activated in The Galilee
Alerts sounded in the Western Galilee after a drone attack from Lebanon hit a building in Shlomi; damage also reported in Deir al-Asad.
Jerusalem, 11 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Α building was reported to have been hit in the northern Israeli town of Shlomi on Friday after alerts warning of drone infiltration from Lebanon sounded across the Western Galilee, while separate sirens were activated farther east in the Karmiel area, including Sakhnin and nearby communities.
Magen David Adom said medics and paramedics were sent to search the scene after receiving information of a strike on a structure. No casualties had been reported at that stage. According to reports the alerts followed an infiltration of several drones from Lebanon.
The incoming fire also appeared to spread into the Lower Galilee. Israel Hayom reported damage at a school building in Deir al-Asad and said several people there were treated for shock. The exact munition that struck Shlomi was not immediately clear from the Israeli reports reviewed.
