30 Arrests Made in Crime Sweep of Bedouin Town
Israel Police arrested 30 suspects and seized weapons, including grenades, in a crime sweep in the Bedouin town Tarabin. Operation New Order targets violent.
Jerusalem, 7 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police reported an activity in the Negev Bedouin town Tarabin led to the arrest of 30 suspects and detained for questioning, along with the seizure of weapons, including four grenades and ammunition.
The activity was carried out as part of “Operation New Order,” Israel’s campaign to fight against organized and violent crime in the south of the country.
In addition, 53 demolition order notices for illegal structures were issued, and combined enforcement was carried out with civilian bodies.
