27 People Wounded in Missile Attacks Over Past 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, 27 people were treated by MDA for injuries and anxiety from missile attacks and alarms, including a serious vehicle accident.

Jerusalem, 16 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that in the past 24 hours (until 7:00 PM Monday), its teams provided medical treatment to a 40-year-old man in a minor condition suffering from shock, six people who were slightly injured from smoke inhalation, a man who was slightly injured from shrapnel and burned his hand, and 27 people across the country who were injured on their way to a protected area at the time of alarms, or suffered from anxiety.

Among those who were injured today on their way to protected areas was a 50-year-old man who was seriously injured when he was hit by a vehicle after getting off a bus during the alarm.

Since the beginning of Operation ” Roaring Lion” against Iran, MDA teams have provided medical treatment to 1,145 people, of whom 980 were physically injured and 165 suffered from anxiety.

Of the 980, 259 people were injured by missile fire, including, 12 killed. Of those who were killed, 11 were pronounced dead on the scene and one died of his wounds in the hospital.

Of those hurt by missile fire, five were seriously injured, 11 moderately and 231 were lightly wounded.

There have been 718 people injured on the way to protected areas, 14 of them in road accidents when they stopped on the side of the road at the time of the alarm.

Three people have been killed on their way to protected areas during attacks.
