22,643 Compensation Claims Made for Property Damaged in Missile Attacks
Over 22,600 property damage claims have been filed with Israel's Compensation Fund following missile attacks, with 82% already appraised or fast-tracked.
Jerusalem, 30 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — To date, 22,643 claims have been filed with the Compensation Fund for property damage, of which 14,825 are for damage to the building, 2,203 for damage to contents and equipment, 5,122 for vehicle damage, and 493 for other damage.
Of all the claims filed since February 28, 18,570 are claims in which an appraiser has already visited the site and estimated the damage or claims filed in the fast track where an appraiser visit is not required (82% of all claims).
As of this morning (March 30) 83 teams of the Israel Tax Authority’s Compensation Fund are operating throughout the country. Of these, 33 are in the Arad, Dimona, Beit Shemesh and Eshtaul areas, 30 of the teams are in the central region and another 15 teams are in the northern region. In addition, five property tax teams are in hotels throughout the country where evacuees have arrived and are assisting them in filing claims.
