Jerusalem, 29 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that about 10 armed Hamas terrorists were eliminated in the center of the Gaza Strip, along with a terrorist who violated the ceasefire agreement after being released as part of the hostage release deals.
In an additional incident last night, the combat team forces of the 188th Armored Brigade eliminated the terrorist Ahmed Fayiz Salem Abu Rida, a terrorist who “systematically violated” the terms of the ceasefire agreement, including by crossing the” Yellow Line” multiple times, transferring funds to suspects for terror activity, and posing a threat to IDF forces. The terrorist was arrested during the war due to his involvement in terror activity, but was released in an exchange deal.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli Forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
