Israeli Military Strikes Lebanese River Crossing Used by Hezbollah for Terror Purposes
The IDF destroyed a vital Litani River crossing used by Hezbollah to move weapons and launch terror attacks against Israel and Lebanese civilians.
Jerusalem, 22 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said it destroyed today, Sunday, a central crossing used by Hezbollah terrorists and commanders as a passage from north to south of the Litani River in Lebanon.
The Hezbollah terror organization used this crossing to transfer thousands of weapons, rockets, and rocket launchers used by it to carry out terror plots from the southern Litani area against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel.
The crossing was attacked in order to prevent harm to civilians of the State of Israel and also to Lebanese civilians, said the IDF.
Also, in another wave of strikes today in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon, about 15 different Hezbollah headquarters were attacked.
