Jerusalem, 19 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prof. Sigal Zalka-Manu of the University of Haifa has been awarded the prestigious Humboldt Research Prize for her contributions to improving the effectiveness of mental health care. The prize is granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, a German organization that promotes international academic cooperation by supporting outstanding researchers worldwide through research funding and scientific awards.
Zalka-Manu, head of the Psychotherapy Laboratory at the University of Haifa’s School of Psychological Sciences, is a leading researcher in clinical psychology and personalized psychotherapy.
