In a test conducted on behalf of the Supervisor of Standards in the Ministry of Economy by Hermon Laboratories Ltd., it was found that the product does not meet the requirements of the official Israeli standard applicable to it: SI 62368 Part 1 – Audio/video, information technology and communication technology equipment: Safety requirements, November 2018:
Details of the defects:
• The components in the charger are not properly insulated and are exposed to contact.
• The charger’s casing is not heat-resistant – risk of overheating which may lead to ignition and fire.
• Violation of electromagnetic interference, which may disrupt the operation of other electronic devices.
Action Required
Anyone in possession of the product shown in the image is requested to stop using it. Sales in stores are strictly prohibited!

The Supervisor of Standards emphasizes that products that do not meet the standardization requirements must not be manufactured, sold, or imported in accordance with section 9(a)(1) of the Standards Law, 5713 – 1953.
The Administration for the Regulation of Trade in the Ministry of Economy and Industry will continue to conduct regular and proactive tests regarding products subject to official standards, and those who do not comply with the standardization instructions are subject to sanctions in both the administrative and criminal spheres.
