Negev Toddler Killed After Being Hit by Bus

A 3-year-old toddler died after being hit by a bus in Hura, Negev. Emergency services performed CPR but the child was pronounced dead at Soroka Hospital.

Jerusalem, 29 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A three-year-old toddler hit by a bus in the Negev town of Hura was declared dead at Beer-Sheva’s Soroka Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.

Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical technician Hanadi Azbarga said, “The child was lying inside the clinic unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. We were told that he had been hit by a bus. We continued the medical treatment, which included performing advanced CPR, loaded him into an MDA intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition.”
