DIVA Cosmetics Recalls “Sun Sessions Zinc Face Cream”

DIVA Cosmetics is recalling "Sun Sessions Zinc Face Cream" due to a labeling error that failed to state the product has no SPF protection.

Public

DIVA Cosmetics and Perfume Industries Ltd. would like to inform the public that during a routine inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health, the following findings were identified:

  1. A labeling error was found on the product “Sun Sessions Zinc Face Cream”, cosmetic license number 1/162793/22, manufactured by DIVA Cosmetics and Perfume Industries Ltd. The required warning stating, “No SPF (UVB) protection level has been determined for this product,” was mistakenly omitted from the label.
  2. Several websites have published marketing claims about the product that were not approved under its license, including claims that it is intended for sun protection.

It is clarified that “Sun Sessions Zinc Face Cream,” cosmetic license number 1/162793/22, manufactured by DIVA Cosmetics and Perfume Industries Ltd., is not intended for sun protection but rather for skin moisturizing.

In light of these findings, sales of the product have been stopped immediately. In coordination with the Ministry of Health, the company is taking action to collect the product from the market.
For the avoidance of doubt, using the product according to its approved purpose as defined in the license does not pose a risk to the public.
The product will return to the market only after the label and related advertising materials have been corrected.

Consumers who purchased the product and wish to return it may contact the company for assistance at 03-6873650.
