Avicam Singer recalls products
Avicam Singer recalls pistachio products after aflatoxin levels exceeded limits. Consumers urged to return "Peeled Pistachio Tray 100g," "Whole Peeled Natural.
Following a notification from the raw material supplier, it was found that aflatoxin levels exceeding the permitted limits are present in the company’s products. The product details are as follows:
- Product “Peeled Pistachio Tray 100g” under the brand “Egoz HaKfar” – includes production dates from 01.02.2025 to 17.02.2026 inclusive
- Product “Whole Peeled Natural Pistachio 1kg” under the brand “Egoz HaKfar” – includes production dates from 01.02.2025 to 17.02.2026 inclusive
- Product “Peeled Natural Pistachio 120g” under the brand “Tzabar” – includes production dates from 01.02.2025 to 17.02.2026 inclusive
Manufacturer Name: Avikam Singer Trade and Marketing Ltd. (Brand “Egozei HaKfar”)
Expiration dates vary and should be checked according to the production date.
Customers who purchased the listed products are requested to refrain from consuming them and to contact the company to arrange for a return.
Aflatoxins are naturally occurring fungal toxins that can cause long-term illness and damage.
In coordination with the Food Service at the Ministry of Health, Avikam Singer Trade and Marketing Ltd. is acting to collect the products.
