1,800 Housing Units Marketed; $100M for Negev/Galilee Real Estate
Israel markets 1,800 housing units across Nahariya, Safed, Dimona, and Arad, alongside NIS 100 million for Negev/Galilee real estate initiatives.
Among the tenders that closed:
- Nahariya, Ben Ami: 224 housing units in the regular track
- Safed, Ramat Razim: 120 housing units for sheltered housing
- Dimona, Yoni Netanyahu: 1,093 housing units in the target price track
- Arad, Neighborhood 5: 404 housing units in high-density construction in the regular track
The tenders were promoted with full government accompaniment, using complementary policy tools including development subsidies, marketing track adjustments, and reduction of planning barriers, with the aim of creating economic certainty for developers and expanding the housing supply in cities outside the central demand areas.
Concurrently, the Ministry is currently promoting real estate acceleration initiatives worth approximately NIS 100 million in Be’er Sheva and in the Galilee, in accordance with government decision 322/2024. These initiatives are intended to strengthen marketing feasibility, expand the supply of land available for construction, and drive additional housing marketing.
Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf: “Expanding housing solutions for the public is a national mission and we are investing billions in this area. In accordance with the government decision I promoted, we will invest NIS 100 million in development subsidies that will lead to the marketing of over 3,000 housing units. We will continue to provide the necessary planning and economic tools to increase the housing supply throughout the country.”
Director General of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, Yehuda Morgenstern: “Behind the successful marketing is a clear real estate plan promoted by the Ministry under the leadership of the Minister and the Housing Cabinet. According to this plan, the state is investing billions of shekels in real estate acceleration and incentivizing authorities, and this investment translates into an actual increase in supply throughout the country. The data on the ground are the result of systematic work, tailored tools, and the removal of barriers. The Ministry will continue to act on all fronts to maintain the trend and bring about additional marketing in the near future.”
Levi Lidor Bonen, Senior Director of Marketing at the Ministry of Construction and Housing: “Precise selection of the marketing track, tender conditions, and the right timing turns planning into actual marketing. This is a daily effort aimed at expanding the housing supply and achieving results.”
