Each such incident of loss of life is a world unto itself, a family torn apart, and a deep wound in the heart of the entire Israeli society. “The Israel Police and I, as its head, embrace the families of the murdered and will do everything in our power, tirelessly, to bring the despicable murderers to justice behind bars. “Within this difficult reality, it is important to clarify and be precise: there are incidents that stem from organized crime, conflicts between criminal organizations, and struggles for control and power – against these we act with force, in a focused and systematic manner, with the clear objective of damaging and collapsing criminal infrastructures. “Alongside this, unfortunately, there are also spontaneous, unpredictable incidents, those that are difficult and sometimes impossible to prevent in advance, like those tragic cases that occurred in Petah Tikva, Beersheba, Hazor HaGalilit, and this morning near Zichron Yaakov, which illustrate how much we are dealing with a complex and painful reality, requiring in-depth treatment, inter-agency cooperation, and the commitment of all educational, treatment, and prevention bodies, including government ministries whose sole purpose is this. “It is important to state clearly and directly: the Israel Police has been operating for an extended period in an intensive and ongoing struggle against violence and crime. “We are operating in a continuous state of emergency, on all fronts, with all tools, and in cooperation with all relevant parties. This is a complex, deep, and multi-dimensional struggle, one that is not measured only in days or weeks, but in long-term processes. Unfortunately, we cannot always see its results immediately, but we have no doubt that persistence, determination, and investment will lead to significant results on the ground.” The Israel Police will not relent. We will continue to act with determination, inter-agency cooperation, responsibility, and professionalism to restore the sense of security to every citizen, everywhere, and in every sector.” I will continue to maintain ongoing, personal, and close monitoring of the status of murder cases, receive frequent updates, and continue to ensure that every investigation is conducted with full professionalism, utilizing all resources, until justice is served against those responsible.” I call from here upon all relevant government ministries, the State Attorney’s Office, and the courts to stand by the Police, to invest maximum effort and resources, to impose severe penalties, and to create deterrence, with the aim of halting these bloody incidents.”
