The police clarified over the past few months, even during the planning stages, that they would not allow compromises on safety and human life. This morning, a comprehensive and professional field tour was conducted in Moshav Ajur, with the participation of the Operations Branch Officer of the Jerusalem District, Superintendent Eli Levi, the Commander of the Mateh Yehuda Station, Lieutenant Colonel Reuven Na’awi, the command of the Jerusalem Border Police sector, event organizers, and their professional staff. During the tour, the organizers and professionals presented the changes, adjustments, and solutions implemented in the field in recent days regarding safety aspects, in accordance with the conditions that were set. The implemented solutions address the safety, traffic, fencing, and lighting requirements that were defined, with the aim of ensuring the well-being and security of all participants. In light of the correction of deficiencies and full compliance with the directives, the District Commander announced the cancellation of the order. The celebration is expected to take place as planned on Sunday and Monday (07.06-07.07). Jerusalem District police officers and Jerusalem Border Police sector fighters will operate throughout the celebration days in and around the moshav, in order to secure participants, maintain public order, and regulate traffic. The public is requested to show patience and obey the instructions of the police officers and ushers who will be stationed at the access routes.
