Two days ago, a professional meeting was held at the offices of the National Road Safety Authority, during which another cooperation agreement was signed between the National Road Safety Authority and the Misgav College. The agreement is intended to implement a broad educational program for youth from the Arab community, with the aim of strengthening educational values, reducing casualties among young drivers, and increasing awareness of road safety.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority, Mr. Gilad Cohen, the Director of Misgav College, Dr. Ihsan Khlaileh, Ms. Nehama Drory, Director of the Education and Information Division at the National Road Safety Authority, Ms. Miri Nachum, Director of the Education Department, and Ms. Shaked Abergil, Director of the Education Field.
As part of the program, 166 youth groups will be operated in 44 Arab communities, from the north to the south. The activity will include educational, values-based, and sports workshops, and will focus on promoting a culture of personal and social responsibility, preventing violence, and raising awareness of road risks and safe conduct.

The National Road Safety Authority views this program as a significant component in the national effort to reduce casualties in road accidents in the Arab community, by connecting education, community, and sports, and providing a response tailored to the needs of the youth.
The Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority, Mr. Gilad Cohen, stated:
“We are proud of the cooperation with Misgav College and welcome the professional work and commitment of the teams in the field. This is another significant project to promote road safety and strengthen social resilience among youth in the Arab community.”
