Jerusalem, 12 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited southern Lebanon today (Sunday), together with Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir.

“The war continues, including within the security zone in Lebanon,” said Netanyahu. “Our enemies – Iran and the Axis of Evil – came to destroy us, and now they are fighting for their own survival.”

“What we see is that we have thwarted the threat of invasion from Lebanon thanks to this security zone,” he added, “we are removing the danger of anti-tank fire and also dealing with anti-tank missiles (rockets), but there is more work to do. We have done a huge job, tremendous achievements, there is more to do – and we are doing it.”
