The Ministerial Committee on Legislation gave its approval today for designating crime groups as terrorist organizations. The dramatic move approves the use of security, economic and intelligence measures against such groups.
The move was completed on the instruction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and on the recommendation of the head of the Bureau for Combating Crime in Arab Society, Roi Kahlon, for the approval of MK Tzvika Foghel’s draft law.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: “We will utilize every measure in order to stop the raging crime”.
