Israel’s Foreign Minister Hosts President of the German Bundestag Julia Klöckner in Jerusalem
Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar hosts German Bundestag President Julia Klöckner in Jerusalem, discussing Judea and Samaria and reaffirming strong ties.
Jerusalem, 11 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with the visiting President of the German Bundestag Julia Klöckner at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. Sa’ar called Klöckner a “true friend of Israel” and thanked her for her support for Israel and her “deep commitment to Holocaust remembrance.”
During the meeting, said Sa’ar, the two discussed the situation in Judea and Samaria.
“I made it clear that the one violating the agreements – ranging from the fight against terror and incitement, and to harming the environment and archaeological sites – is the Palestinian Authority,” he said.
“The friendship between Israel and Germany is important and strategic,” added Sa’ar. “We’ll continue strengthening relations between our countries.”
