Jerusalem, 10 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Monday that it had eliminated three Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon, following targeted operations in multiple locations.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, the first strike targeted Samir Ali Fakiyya in the Serifa area. Fakiyya was reportedly involved in smuggling weapons for Hezbollah across Lebanon.
In addition, the IDF confirmed that two other Hezbollah operatives were killed Sunday in strikes in the areas of Khomin al-Fuka and al-Swana. These operations add to the 12 Hezbollah terrorists neutralized by Israel since the start of the month.
“The terrorists’ actions constituted a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens,” the IDF said.
Monday’s operations also targeted Hezbollah assets in southern lebanon’s beqaa and Nabatieh regions. The IDF said it struck sites used for rocket launches, weapons production and storage, and other terror infrastructure. The IDF said rockets aimed at Israel were destroyed.
Israel has stepped up its strikes on Hezbollah as the Iran-backed terror group tries to regroup and rebuild.
Under the terms of the ceasefire that went into effect on November 27, 2024, Hezbollah is required to withdraw its armed forces from southern Lebanon. According to UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War, the group is prohibited from operating south of the Litani River.
