Further to the disturbances of order throughout the country and the violent riots – the Commissioner strongly condemned the events and ordered decisive action against those involved. Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai emphasized,

“These are serious acts that harm not only police officers themselves, but also the rule of law and the security of the entire public.” “The Israel Police will act with determination and all the tools at its disposal to locate those involved, thoroughly investigate the incidents, and bring those responsible to justice.
