FM Sa’ar to FM Sangiampongsa: “As long as Hamas remains in power in Gaza, there will be no stability in the entire Middle East.".

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar met with Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs Maris Sangiampongsa in Tel Aviv.

The foreign ministers first met privately, followed by an expanded meeting with the teams from both sides.

The meeting took place after FM Sa’ar communicated with the Thai Foreign Minister in recent weeks regarding the release of the abducted Thai citizens.

During their meeting, the two discussed the condition of the released hostages and the negotiations for their release, in addition to addressing the situation in the Middle East and the enhancement of bilateral relations.

FM Sa’ar made it clear that Iran is the head of the octopus driving terrorism, extremism, and instability in the region. Referring to the situation in Gaza, FM Sa’ar stated that “as long as Hamas remains in power in Gaza, there will be no stability in the entire Middle East.”

The two also discussed strengthening relations between the two countries and agreed to hold bilateral visits that also include delegations from the business sectors in the countries.
