FM Sa’ar meets with Greek FM George Gerapetritis

The two discussed the further strengthening of the political and economic ties between the countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar met today with Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.

The two first met privately and then held an extended meeting with the teams from both sides.

FM Sa’ar updated his counterpart on the security situation in the various sectors and on the outline for the return of the abductees from Gaza. FM Sa’ar also noted the absurdity of the actions of the international courts and their legal persecution against Israel, the most attacked country in the world, in violation of all legal rules.

The two discussed the further strengthening of the political and economic ties between the countries.

FM Sa’ar called on FM Gerapetritis to assist in returning the home games of Israeli sports and national teams in Europe to Israel, with an emphasis on the Greek teams. FM Gerapetritis promised to assist in this matter.
