Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, visited together with IAI- Israel Aerospace Industries CEO, Boaz Levy, at the company’s production lines, which have been operating around the clock since the outbreak of war. During the visit, Director General Baram conducted a field situation assessment and reviewed the production pace of key offensive and defensive combat systems for the IDF.
The Director General addressed the employees: “IAI plays a crucial role across all aspects of this war – our systems are operating in Iran, targeting Tehran, while simultaneously protecting Israeli citizens at home. When Iran’s leadership faces off against the IDF, they’re not just confronting our military, but our entire defense industry ecosystem, including all of you engineers and workers. I’m here today to thank you for your years of tireless dedication. We’re in an endless technological arms race with our enemies, and while our battlefield achievements have been remarkable, we can’t afford to rest. To maintain our technological edge, we must continue scaling up production and accelerating development of the next generation of defense systems.”
