Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram visited Elbit Systems, where he met with President and CEO Bezalel (Butzi) Machlis and company leadership, toured production lines of critical systems used in Operation Rising Lion, and met with employees.
The Director General addressed the employees: “Elbit Systems’ advanced technologies are integrated across all the platforms we deployed against Iran – both offensive and defensive systems. The partnership between the Ministry of Defense, the IDF, and our defense industries creates a unique Israeli ecosystem that was crucial to our ability to send formations of fighter jets 1,500 kilometers all the way to Tehran. Now, our job is to take everything we’ve learned and use it to rapidly build up our forces to better prepare the IDF for whatever comes next. This operational success has been fantastic, but the operational and technological fight isn’t over yet.”
