Jerusalem, 24 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that its units recently attacked Hezbollah rocket launchers in the Yatar and Kafra areas of southern Lebanon, north of the Israel’s “forward defense line.” The launchers that were attacked posed a threat to Israeli Forces and citizens of the State of Israel, said the IDF.

Earlier today, the Hezbollah terrorists launched several explosive drones at IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon, south of the front defense line.

The drones exploded near the forces, but there were no casualties among Israeli forces.

“This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” said the IDF.

The forward defense line is the line established by the IDF in Lebanon ahead of the ceasefire in order to push Hezbollah terrorists far back enough from northern Israel to deter continued rocket attacks.
