Jerusalem, 4 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that its Givati Infantry Brigade’s Reconnaissance fighters identified and eliminated yesterday, Wednesday, in a “face-to-face encounter” a Hezbollah terrorist armed with a Kalashnikov type weapon, who operated near the force, north of the Litani River in Lebanon.
After several hours, the brigade’s forces raided a Hezbollah weapons depot in the area, and located inside it dozens of weapons of various types, including Kalashnikov type weapons and shotguns, a ground-to-air micro missile, magazines, grenades and additional combat equipment.
Also, the Israel Air Force eliminated during the night (Wednesday) two Hezbollah terrorist cells that operated in the Tyre and Chaqra areas.
