11 Kilometers of Terror Tunnels Destroyed in Beit Hanoun

The IDF destroyed over 11 kilometers of Hamas terror tunnels in Beit Hanoun, Gaza, as part of a multi-month engineering operation.

Jerusalem, 26 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, over the past few months, more than 11 kilometers in length of a Hamas underground terror bases in Beit Hanoun, Gaza, were located and destroyed.

This came as part of the engineering operation, where Israeli Forces conducted hundreds of “systematic drillings” to locate terror tunnels.

Hundreds of above-ground terrorist infrastructures were also destroyed.

“The Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip was one of the central and complex combat hubs where the forces operated in the maneuver,” said the IDF.
